A mans world?

Are men more equal then women?

The gender debate ,a ongoing conversation...

After thousands of years of male dominance, we now stand at the beginning of the feminine era, when women will rise to their appropriate prominence, and the entire world will recognise the harmony between man and woman
I find it imperative to emphasise the characteristics that make women and men so different. Men are physically stronger. By nature, they are usually more aggressive and externally oriented. In contrast, a woman usually embodies the ideal of inner dignity. Some people confuse such subtlety with weakness; in truth, it is stronger than the most aggressive physical force imaginable. True human dignity does not shout; it is a strong, steady voice that speaks from within.
Action:
·         Men and women must realise their respective equal roles and strive to complement each other in their shared struggle to improve life.
·         We must learn to appreciate and respect your male or female counterpart.
In my eyes, women are just as equal to men; gender does not matter. We as a society need to work towards the end of gender discrimination.

  1. i agree with you but it seems we still have those people that think that women are not suppose to work, others marry their children to older men while they still young and men are still abusing women but we need to keep on creating campaigns to empower women especial in rural area because they the once who suffer such things

    1. I agree, rural areas need to be targeted as we have noticed that women in those areas are looked down on, awareness campaigns need to put in to place ASAP. Change starts with us!

  2. The government is really trying to reduce this gender inequality and what I can say is that kit is so nice and encouraging to see the formal steps taken by the South African government to reduce gender inequality in the country.

    1. I don’t believe the government has done enough to empower women, in this day and age in our so called “Free country” women should not be fighting for their voices to still be heard. The government is just fluffing around. an action plan needs to be put into place.

  3. "A woman was created from a man's organ, not from the foot to be stepped upon, not from the butt to be sat on, but from the rib to stand side-by-side as equals through their journey in this thing we call life"...hence if you'd minus the "WO" from "WOMAN", you are left with "MAN". One can not live without the other, so let us embrace each other...@MokD21

    1. I couldn’t agree more with you! When writing this blog, my aim was to send out a message that, we women want respect and to be treated as an equal. I can only hope my message was portrayed
